Waiting for the Big Man
Had a fun evening out after our Christmas church service. Their was a “wish tree” outside of the restaurant we went to, so the boys made their wishes for the next year.
Snow 2018
It definitely felt like Christmas time at the beginning of the month this year as we got quite a bit of snow. It was really pretty and lasted for a good 2 – 3 days, which is a lot this time of year. Although it was great to see and the boys had fun playing in it, Jamie and I were happy when it melted.
Thanksgiving 2018
We celebrated Thanksgiving this year with Gigi and Popi and had quite the eventful week. The six of us kept busy by going to the museums in Raleigh, checking out the beach, the NC aquarium and even Blackbeard’s museum in downtown Beaufort. The added bonus to a fun week was the gorgeous NC weather.
Walking Home in the Fall
The leaves are so pretty here and I love looking at them while I walk the boys home from school and enjoy a nice snack on the back porch.
