A Boy and his Caterpillar

The boys and their buddy found a caterpillar last night, so we made a home for him out of an old tupperware container.  Bennet wanted to play with him this morning, so I got my camera out to play around.  I’m so glad I got these sweet shots, because he was so precious.  Love that I’m home with him to catch these special moments.

Yep, he’s still chillin in his Halloween costume. I guess it’s more appropriate now that it’s actually October.

1st Day of Pre-K

Today was Bennet’s 1st day of preschool and the little guy couldn’t be happier. He’s so excited to be going 5 days a week, and even more excited that he has his best friend from last year in his class again. 

Halloween in September?

Currently, this sweet guy is obsessed with kitties.  All he wants to be for Halloween is a black cat, so we went ahead and ordered his costume early.  We’ll have to see if it lasts until the end of October, because he wants to wear it everyday.  That’s fine by me, because I think he just looks so cute as a little kitty.

The End of Our Summer

A Beautiful Day for a Hike

Last week we took the boys to Tanners on a gorgeous summer day.  After the two of them played and we loaded up on apples, corn, cider donuts and other homemade goodies, we went to our favorite state park for a picnic and a hike.  It was a fun day and a great end to Hayden’s summer break.
