Halloween 2009
Hayden was playing with his Nana’s witch hat.
Hayden’s putting his hands in his first pumpkin.
Yes, I know I look like a dork in the hat. It’s all in the spirit of Halloween:)
He’s already a candy lover like his mom.
Waiting for the trick-or- treaters on our porch.
I decided to carve our pumpkins this year and here’s how they came out.

Playgroup Fun
This week at our playgroup – in the spirit of Halloween – we decided to dress our kids up in their costumes. These are some of the pictures that we took. I seriously can’t get enough of these little boys in their costumes.

Off to the Beach……
Yesterday we decided to go to the beach and enjoy a little picnic lunch and some exercise. We also wanted to go there before it got too cold here to really enjoy it. It was a fun experience this time, because Hayden is obviously older. To say the least, I think that he liked crawling in the sand, and it was another first for him that was fun to watch. Unfortunately, it was a little more cloudy than we thought it was going to be. So, instead of spending a lot of time there, we decided to go to downtown Wilmington again to walk around and get some ice cream. Overall, turned out to be quite the fun Sunday! BTW – On the way to the beach, I saw that Hayden has his first little tooth poking through….our baby’s growing up too fast!

We’ve Got the Halloween Spirit!
I love the month of October and have always really liked Halloween. When the Halloween costumes came out this year, my mom and I were SO excited and couldn’t wait to see Hayden in one. I really like the cow costume and the tail makes me laugh. Unfortunately, he has already outgrown the cow :( - hence the monkey costume. Although, he’s not going to be a monkey for Halloween. Yes, I know, yet another costume. I just couldn’t help myself and found one that I thought was even cuter. We’ll have to post pictures in that costume after Halloween. So, here are some poses for you guys of our little monkey and cow for those of you that haven’t seen them yet. Enjoy!
Thanks again for the Mickey pumpkin Aiellos:)
Here’s Hayden laughing at Jamie…..such a happy little monkey.

Message for my Daddy
Here’s a note from Hayden to his Daddy after his breakfast this morning. He told me to tell you “Hi” Jamie. I can’t hug him enough in this outfit today. It’s quite the “Ralphie” outfit, huh? I promise I won’t put him in outfits like this when he’s older. Only when he’s this young and has no clue how embarrassing this could be one day. I in no way want to be that mom.:)
It’s unseasonably cold here, so when Hayden and I woke up this morning, I put him in this cute little outfit that he’s basically about to outgrow. Have to wear it at least once, right? So, I was taking pictures to send to Jamie at work, because he just looked so snuggly in it this morning and here’s what he did when I put him on the chair in our guest bedroom. He’s done it before, so now this is apparently his new thing. Lately, he’s crawling everywhere and has figured out how to stand up holding on to objects on his own. Oh my, he’s such a mover. Thought you guys might like to see.

Some Fun Fall Pics
Here are some fun pictures from this week. It was a gorgeous fall weekend here, so we took Hayden to a pumpkin patch to pick out his first pumpkin.
We love the cool, crisp air of a fall evening and going for a stroll as a family. Hayden is still warming up to wearing shoes, so I decided to keep his feet warm with his new dinosaur slippers. Aren’t they so cute? They have little bells in them, so when he crawls/kicks his legs we can hear them. So funny.
