Today I helped out at Hayden’s preschool with their big Thanksgiving party. The kids did such a great job and everyone had a lot of fun. Hayden was very excited to have his Mommy there and even more excited to tell me the Indian name he made up, “Spotted Pony”. I helped out at his preschool Christmas party last year and it’s so amazing the difference a year makes. Last year (in the two year old class) the kids couldn’t sit still, where this year, they were all extremely well behaved and well mannered. One of the moms told me a sweet story about Hayden that made me smile. Her son has special needs and is in a wheel chair. She brought him to class one day to pick up her daughter and Hayden immediately gave him a big hug and started talking to him “like an old friend". I know this isn’t a big deal, but it just made me very proud, because she said he was so kind and thoughtful toward her son. :) What a fun last day of preschool before Thanksgiving break.
