Bennet’s Two Year Update

I took Bennet to the doctor the other day for his two year well check and he did great!  His first two years of life have just flown by and he’s been such a joy. His development is right on track and he’s been a very healthy, little guy.  Lately, he’s been talking up a storm and his favorite song to sing is “Baa, Baa, Black Sheep”.  It’s so cute to watch him sing it while he plays with his trains.  Bennet’s always been very laid back and plays by himself so well.  Sometimes while Hayden is at preschool and I’m occupied with housework, I can always find him playing quietly by himself.  He still loves books and now loves to sit and do look-and-finds before bed.  Although he’s still a very good boy, Bennet has definitely entered into the “terrible two” stage and has started saying “mine” and will sometimes hit whoever takes one of his toys.  Oh, the joys of toddlerhood:). From the very beginning, he’s admired Hayden so much and will now copy anything his big brother does.  It’s made for some very fun and interesting dinner times that for sure.  God has definitely blessed us with our boys and we’re looking forward to watching both of them grow in 2013.
