One of the highlights of growing up in Morton was going to the Pumpkin Festival every year. It was such a big deal for everyone as it’s such a quintessential all American festival. So this year, Jamie and I were very excited to be home to take our kids for the very first time. The boys loved seeing their new downtown all transformed for the festival, riding rides and seeing their friends. Everything about it was so much fun! Another Morton traditional that we used to do every year growing up was to go to Ackerman’s and pick out your mums and pumpkins for the season. This year was definitely didn’t disappoint and the kids had a blast! What a great way to welcome in the fall season.
