Hayden had his very 1st day of Kindergarten today and did great! The four of us were able to walk him into his classroom to see his teacher, classmates and where he sits. Hayden was nervous and excited all at the same time this morning. He relaxed a little when he saw some other boys from our street and a friend that he knew from preschool. When I went back to his classroom to pick him up he said, “Mom, I had fun.” He told me all about his day on our walk home and said that he’s excited, because he likes his teacher and friends. So, his first day of Kindergarten was a big success. Phew!! :)
His neighborhood friend, Kylie, was ready for her first day of Kindergarten, too. The two were playing on the playgym before everyone left; it was sweet.
