Well, the boys have officially turned 6 and 8. Hard to believe that it’s gone so fast. When we asked the the two what they wanted for their birthdays, they each wanted something different, but very low key. Surprisingly, neither of them wanted a big party. Bennet just wanted his two best friends, Max and Ryan, to come over to his house to play and have McDonalds for lunch. Couldn’t get any simpler. As for Hayden, we were initially going to go to the trampoline park in Springfield, but with the unseasonably gorgeous weather, we planned an over night in Iowa City and had a blast. The four of us were outside almost the whole weekend and the boys swam a lot at our hotel. Hayden and Bennet chose wisely and we had a wonderful time celebrating 6 and 8!
