RDU

The four of us went to the observation deck at RDU this afternoon to watch the planes take off and enjoy a new recipe that I tried out for a snack.  I think Hayden had a good time watching the planes and running around. 

A Sound Sleeper

Bennet definitely is our sound sleeper.  He can literally sleep through anything.  I love how he sleeps with his legs all curled up under him.  So this morning, I thought I would take a picture of him in this position. 

Morning Talk with Bennet

Bennet usually wakes up before Hayden in the mornings, so the two of us go downstairs and have breakfast. It's always nice to spend some one on one time with Bennet and relax with some coffee. He's become quite the talker and it's so fun to listen to him. He's so calm about it and like any baby, just babbles. Right after he ate today, I got the flip out to record it, because I definitely don't want to forget how cute he is. Lately, he's been saying Ba...ba... or da....da. He's such a sweetie! I definitely can't kiss those little cheeks enough throughout the day.

Army Crawl

I took this video the other day of Bennet while Hayden was still napping. He's definitely been starting to move a lot this past month and is army crawling everywhere.

A Glimpse of Our Busy Summer

This summer just flew by and the four of us had such a great time.  I can’t believe that it’s almost over and I’m so behind with posting pictures.  Basically, we’ve kept busy going to the neighborhood pools, playground, park, our new gym and just good ole family fun hanging out at home.

 

Bennet’s 6 Month Appointment

Where has the time gone?  We’ve been so busy this summer that I’ve fallen behind with my blogging.  It’s scary to think about how fast this season is going and how quickly our baby is growing up.  A couple of weeks ago, Bennet had his 6 month appointment, and we’re happy to report that our little man is still healthy and right on track for his age.  Here are some of the pictures I got of him on that day.  He was such a good boy for the doctor.

Our ‘Deer’ Friends

Since moving in, we’ve always seen deer through the trees in our backyard, which is such a nice surprise.  Yesterday, while we were eating breakfast on our screened in porch, we saw these gorgeous babies.  I quickly got my camera and was able to get their picture before they left.   Hayden loved seeing them and got really excited and said, “Look, Mama, couple of deer.” How fun!
