Hayden had his official last first day of preschool today. :) He was excited to go and I think he’s really excited to have a new teacher and meet some new friends. I was lucky and he and Bennet felt like posing for some pictures before we left. They also shared a fun big brother hug. Bennet was a little sad when I dropped Hayden off and wanted to go to preschool like a big boy. It was very sweet.
The four of us had a blast Labor Day visiting Uncle Bryan in Minneapolis. Our hotel was in a really neat area with a great view of downtown, which was really fun. Uncle Bryan kept us busy by going to a massive indoor water park and to the Nickelodeon Universe in the Mall of America. The water park was so neat and I think that the boys couldn’t have had more fun. We went on a huge family water slide, and we were in shock that Bennet loved it so much as both Jamie and I were scared..ha..ha. Overall, it was a wonderful weekend visiting Uncle Bryan and we’re excited to go up again this winter!
We had such a great time last night with our neighbors and Uncle Bryan. The kids had a blast hanging out with their best buddy, Drew, and enjoying the slip n’ slide in the hot weather.
I took the kids to the park this morning and as you can see, they had a lot of fun in this nice summer weather.
Bennet has finally discovered how to drive his car well and has loved driving it on the sidewalk and in the yard. It’s been very sweet to watch both of them drive their cars around like such big boys. Hayden has been learning how to ride his bike without training wheels, while Bennet is now riding Hayden’s bike by himself (with training wheels). We’re thinking that it’s time to upgrade Hayden’s bike and pass the good ole Cars bike down to Bennet. These two have really gotten into bicycles this summer, because we go for family bike rides almost every night. So far, since living in Morton, that’s been the number one thing that we all love to do together. :)
The four of us had an awesome time last weekend in St. Louis! It’s such an easy drive, so we decided to go to the zoo and The Arch for the day. It was fun for Jamie and I to go back and take the boys there for the 1st time.
