Here’s Bennet’s 2014 preschool pictures. The kids all look so cute and I love getting these pictures back to keep. Hopefully, Bennet will remember a little bit about preschool someday. His teachers are so wonderful and he get excited on the days when he gets to go. Hope he always keeps this enthusiasm for school and learning.
Oh, fall, how we love thee! Nothing says fall in Central Illinois like the Morton Pumpkin Festival, playing outside and going to pick pumpkins at Ackerman’s. It’s so neat to watch my boys experience the same excitement that I had when I was growing up.
Here’s Hayden’s fall park district soccer pictures and his 2014 school pictures. He was very excited, because he picked out the background and his shirt in hopes that they would match. Very cute and boy, does he look like Jamie!
I think Bennet’s smiles below say it all. He was so excited to go to preschool today and be in Mrs. Legal’s class. This little guy was definitely ready and there were no nerves at all. He just walked right in, said, “Bye Mommy” and started playing. It was a great first day for him. We can just tell he’s going to have a great year!
The four of us headed up to Minneapolis again for labor day this year for some Ronin, Anthony and Friess family fun. We’re so fortunate that Aunt Molly and Uncle Bryan live so close. It was great to see everyone and so wonderful to have all of the cousins together again. The boys got to meet three new cousins too: Baby Becca, Ellie and Livi. The boys were quite smitten with their new baby cousin, Becca. Over all, the trip (as always) went way too fast. A perfect trip to end our busy, fun filled summer.
