Another Step Closer for Bennet
Here’s Bennet working on riding his bike without training wheels with Daddy. Little guy’s got a long way to go, but is super excited to start. By the end of the summer we might have no water wings or training wheels. Growing up so fast!

Tulips!
I took the boys downtown today to meet Jamie for lunch at the carts. It was so beautiful and the perfect day for a picnic. Everything was in bloom and smelled so wonderful. The tulips were especially pretty. Since they’re my favorite flower, I told Bennet he had to take lots of pictures in front of them. Little guy was happy to oblige. (I think I have taken a million pictures of tulips throughout the years:) We then took a walk downtown and by the river. It was such a nice afternoon.

Spring Break 2015
Although the winter wasn’t too bad, the four of us have been craving some hot weather, so we were so excited for spring break to roll around this year. We flew down to Nana and Papa’s and had a great time under the sun. Since my parents have retired down there, we’ve developed some nice traditions that the six of us enjoy. It’s so fun going to Downtown Disney, the farmers market, Manatee beach and to the Contemporary Resort on the monorail. This trip also had two big milestones for Hayden and Bennet. Hayden lost his first tooth and Bennet swam for the 1st time without water wings. Boy, the two of them are really growing up. It was such a nice and relaxing time for all of us. Turned out to be a great break!
Look, Bennet has no water wings!
Dying Easter eggs outside before the Bunny comes.
Fish tacos. I could eat these everyday
Fresh produce all year round – Wish this could happen in Illinois
This about sums it up with two boys.
Hayden Lost a Tooth!
Over spring break Hayden lost his first tooth. After Daddy helped wiggle the tooth out, Hayden put the tooth under his pillow, and the tooth fairy gave him $5.00. He’s got another lose tooth on the bottom, so I think he’ll be visited by the good ole fairy some more this spring and summer. And so it begins, he’s officially a big boy now!
