Multiple pairs of Christmas jammies are always a good idea!

When the Weatherman is Wrong

It was supposed to snow this weekend and then turn into an icky wintery mix, but luckily it stayed to our North.  So, on Sunday afternoon, the four of us went exploring in the woods and played on the icy “ish” creek.  Although we came home quite muddy, it was a fun little outdoor adventure.

The First Snow

Today was a gorgeous, snowy day – our first of the season.  There was no wind and the temperature was pretty mild for snow, so the four of us had a great time playing and enjoying the day. Snow pictures are some of my favorite to take of the boys.  So many fun, candid moments.  The best.

Pie in the Face Showdown

What a fun game for the kids.  And boy, do they look alike in the second picture.  You can tell they are definitely brothers.

A 70 Degree Halloween!

The weather this fall has been unseasonably warm and it’s been wonderful. Halloween was no exception and was 70 degrees; perfect weather for trick-or-treating.  This year the kids wanted to be vampires and dress alike.  As a huge Halloween lover who realizes that her kids might be over the fluffy, animal costumes of the past, this was a great surprise.  I love it when they want to be alike and these costumes were really cute.  So, our vampires set out with our good friends, the Jones’s and trick-or-treated all over the neighborhood.  The warm weather kept the kids out for a long time, so the candy was quite plentiful this year.  *On a side note, Bennet really wants me to write, “Blah, blah, Blah” at the end of this post.

Bennet Lost Two Teeth!

Our baby is most certainly growing up – sometimes way too fast.  Bennet’s two bottom teeth have been hanging on for dear life now for a while and finally decided to come out.  The first came out at home and just like his big brother, the tooth fairy left him $5.oo.  The second one came out at school, which  as a Kindergartener, is just awesome.  He was so excited when we picked him up. So, life for Bennet has been pretty sweet lately as he’s a whole $7.00 richer.
