Christmas Program 2017

I was able to snap a quick picture before the boy’s Christmas program this year.  Both boys had a line and did a great job. It’s always so fun and sweet to see the kids all dressed up and singing Christmas songs.  And this year all of the grandparents got to livestream the program, so they could see it live.

It’s all about Star Wars this year for the boy’s, so for their matching Christmas pajamas this year, these were a must.

Baptism

Today was a very special day for our family as Jamie, Hayden and Bennet decided to get baptized at our church.  I made the decision to get baptized 3 years ago by our pastor, Cal, so today I was the designated picture taker.  When we had the boys, we knew that when it came to religion, we wanted to introduce them to what we believed and have them make their own decision when the time was right for them.  They watched Mommy do it and we’ve talked with them about what it means and they’ve discussed it at church with their friends and leaders.  So, recently, both boys prayed about it and decided that they wanted to get baptized.  They were especially excited to do it with Daddy.  It was very special and meaningful and I’m so glad we got sweet pictures.

Hayden and Bennet are playing fall baseball this year in a new league.  Bennet looked so cute before his 1st game that I thought I would snap a little picture.

1st and 3rd Grade!

Hayden and Bennet started school this year on August 16th.  Both boys got great teachers again and were ready to go the 1st day. Hayden got Mrs. Friedrich and Bennet got Mrs. Vastine. We’re so excited for these two and can’t wait to see what this year has in store.

End of the Summer 2017

Our summer flew by and we ended it with a trip to Nana and Papa’s in Florida and to Tanner’s Orchard and Starved Rock.  We all had a nice, relaxing trip where we swam and enjoyed the sun.  The boys got really lucky and my parents took them to Disney to Magic Kingdom and Epcot.  While they were gone for the day, Jamie and I did some much needed shopping to get me some back to work clothes and then hung out at Disney Springs and at the pool.  It was a great trip and topped off a wonderful summer.
