1-2-3

Since we've put our Christmas decorations up, Hayden has been in love with the lighted trees and garland. Every morning when we go downstairs he likes us to count to three to turn the lights on. He never says 1 or 3, but never misses a 2. I just grabbed the flip this morning and captured him saying it. He's such a sweetheart and definitely has the Christmas spirit like his Mom and Dad.

Thanksgiving 2010

This year for Thanksgiving we went down to Florida to relax in the nice weather and eat lots of turkey.  We got lucky, because the weather was beautiful, so we were able to swim and enjoy being outside.  Hayden found a new favorite at the playground and loved the teeter-totter.  He also wowed us in the pool again and liked balancing on Uncle Bryan and Daddy’s hands while he twirled around.  At his swimming lessons, he’s been practicing jumping in the water on 1-2-3, but he hasn’t quite figured that out yet and just yells out  “2” and jumps in, which is really funny to watch.  We might have a new name in the family as well, because every time we get Hayden to say “Grandpa” it’s always “Papa”, so we’ll see.  Thanksgiving night we went to Downtown Disney and Hayden was able to ride on his first merry-go-round ride.  He also had a fun time riding the train with Uncle Bryan.  My parents proved once again that they are quite the Scene It players and won two nights in a row.  Although, it was a very close race.:) Toward the end of the trip, Nana and Papa (sorry Dad) took Hayden to Epcot to ride Nemo and see the fish while Bryan, Jan, Jamie and I went to dinner and to see Harry Potter.  As usual, the trip went by way too fast, but it was an awesome time, and we can’t wait to do it again soon.  Love you all!

Hayden Loves Shoes

Baby and Hayden Update

It’s definitely been a while since I’ve updated everyone on the progress of Baby #2.  Time has just gone by way too fast!   Everything is still going well and according to the doctor, he’s right on track.  He weighs around 3.5 pounds now and is a healthy little guy.  After much thought, we decided to keep Hayden in his room and give the baby our guest room.  So, for the past two weekends, we have been getting everything together in his room.  It’s all coming along nicely, and we continue to get more and more excited.  Although, it seems that the pregnancy has gone by – like everything else – so fast.  My belly is slowly but surely growing and he’s staying very active.  We’ll definitely keep you all updated when we find out more information or if anything changes.  :)  As for an update on Hayden………he’s still doing well and is loving life.  It seems like everyday he’s learning more and more words and is talking nonstop.   Hayden has been taking swimming lessons at Triangle Swim School every Monday and is doing great.  The big thing that he is working on is going under, holding his breath and swimming back to the wall.  I think he’ll be excited to show off his new skills for everyone in Florida next week for Thanksgiving.  He’s quite funny and almost every morning after breakfast, he’ll get Jamie or my shoes out of the closet, put them on our feet, take our hand and lead us to the garage door to go outside and play.  Needless to say, he loves playing and doing anything outside.   We’re still amazed at how fast he changes and grows, so you know more updates will be on their way soon.
