For the past four years, we have gone to Iowa City for our anniversary. Since a trip up to Iowa would be much more difficult this year – especially with a five month old – we planned a vacation down to Orlando and took a couple of days to go to Clearwater Beach. We were lucky, because my parents were more than happy to watch Hayden for the two days that we were there. The weather turned out to be great, and we were able to enjoy the beach and swim in the gulf. Jamie and I were also fortunate and got a room with a great view of the ocean and the bay. We’ve always wanted to have some wine and watch the sunset, too. This year has been quite eventful and has marked a lot of new traditions for us as a family. We’re thinking that this five year anniversary has started a new tradition for us to celebrate at the beach.
