This weekend was supposed to be Hayden’s dedication at our church, but instead, it was cancelled and rescheduled due to the winter storm that rolled through North Carolina. Unfortunately, the winter storm also hampered travel plans from Illinois, and Jamie’s Mom was unable to make the trip, which made us all sad:( We made the best of it though, and Hayden was able to see snow and play in it for the first time. We bundled him up in some long underwear with lots of layers, and he hung out in the snowy wonderland of his front yard. It was cute to see him discover the snow and figure out what to do with it. Although the snow is beautiful, we’re hoping that it’ll all melt this week.
