Bennet at 20 Months Old

Since time has just flown by these past couple of months, I thought that now would be a great time for an update on the boys.  Our dear, sweet Bennet is still full of smiles and laughs.  This little guy is definitely fond of being outside.  So you can imagine how wonderful this past summer was for him, with lots of playground time and swimming at the pool.  (We think he’s going to be a little fish like his brother.)  Lately, he is really into cars and trains and likes pushing them everywhere around the house.  Thomas the Train is his favorite character, and he gets really excited when he sees him on PBS.  Talking and learning new words came really easily for Bennet, and he’ll usually repeat whatever he hears very clearly.  He can count to ten and his favorite song that he’ll sing with us before bed is “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star”.  It’s been so fun watching him play with Hayden, because he likes to act exactly like his big brother.  He’s still really into books and loves going into Hayden’s room while he’s at preschool and reading them while sitting in his bed.  We can’t believe that after the holidays our baby will be two. This funny, little cuddler is so special and it’s been amazing watching him grow.
