A Big Boy Bed for Hayden

This afternoon, we decided that it was finally time to convert Hayden’s crib into a toddler bed.  He’s definitely ready and over the past month, has gotten really excited when we talk about a big boy bed.  So, since we were hanging out inside today, we figured that we might as well.  He went to bed without any problems and seemed happy to be in his “new bed”. 

I took this picture of Bennet while Jamie was putting Hayden’s crib together.  He seemed to like Hayden’s bed, too and kept climbing in and out of it.

Eat, Eat, Eat

It’s been so cold here this weekend – highs in the low 40’s and windy – that we haven’t taken the boys out to play, so no fun outdoor pictures to update.  I must admit, that in the 3 1/2 years that we’ve lived here, Jamie and I have gotten so spoiled by the winters.  It’s been so nice with having little kids to get them outside to play and run around.  Well, since it’s a little too cold out for a toddler and baby (yes, in my mind Bennet is still a baby;) what do the Ronins do all weekend……eat.  I’ve made some new recipes that I put on our food blog to share with you all that are pretty good, so check them out if you get a chance.  Also, I noticed this afternoon while I was updating that blog, that I’ve officially made over 100 new recipes while we’ve lived here.  How fun is that!  Hope you all have had a nice weekend!

Thankful for - Day 7

So, most of you will think this is a boring video, but I love it none the less;) I like the little moments that I have with each of my boys throughout the day. I think that when I look back, I'll remember those the most. I took this video this morning while Hayden was at preschool, so it was just Bennet and me. He just cracks me up, because, like Hayden, he loves to play chase. He's just so sweet and has the cutest little laugh. And yes, I still sound like a huge dork in the video.

Jamie took this right after Bennet’s nap today.  He’s such a snuggler.  As you can imagine, I really can’t get enough of this.  We’re really lucky that both of our little ones love to snuggle so much.

Thankful for – Day 4

Lots to be thankful for on this beautiful 68 degree day in February.  The day started off well with both boys sleeping in until well after 7 this morning.  We did a lot of playing outside since it’s so unseasonably nice out (wish the weather could be like this everyday).  And to top off a great morning, I’m typing this on my sunny front porch while enjoying the peacefulness of naptime.  

Thankful for – Day 3

Love that they can keep themselves entertained in their cribs.  Definitely thankful for all of their silliness.

We’re thankful for the very spring like weather that everyone has been having. Bennet would walk outside with this walker all day if we’d let him.
